Project overview
The Retreat Railway Bridge is a structural steel bridge in Retreat, St. Ann, forming part of a railway route used for the transportation of bauxite through the parish. Given the critical role of the bridge, INTEGER was engaged to carry out a detailed structural assessment to evaluate its condition, identify existing defects and proactively identify opportunities for repairs or improvements.
The assessment included detailed inspections and structural design checks of the bridge and its components. Based on the findings, INTEGER prepared repair recommendations and structural detailing to address identified deficiencies and improve the continued safety and serviceability of the structure.
